We miss plant filled spaces in London.
We now have some light at the end of the tunnel & we can’t wait to get back to our favourite plant-filled spaces in London! Although we miss many things about “normal” life, eating & drinking in spaces across London has to be near the top of our list.
The hospitality industry has been hit particularly hard, and as soon as their books are open we are going to be many making reservations to make up for being in our homes over the past few months. In this post, we wanted to spotlight 5 places in London which have incredible foliage which we can’t wait to visit IRL once again.
The Culpepper
Not far from Spitalfields Market, The Culpepper is not only a pub, but also boasts a restaurant, rooms and a rooftop garden. The pub alone has a cosy feel with hanging plants dotted around, but the real gem is the rooftop. Whether you are sipping on their signature cocktails, admiring the view of the City’s skyline or taking part in one of their many events (from botanical drawing to terrarium making), the rooftop is a gem we can’t wait to visit again.

Blixen
We have spent many weekends wandering around Spitalifield’s Market, and nestled amongst the eclectic range of shops & eateries is Blixen: a foliage full bar & restaurant. You can dine below the beautiful hanging plants, enjoy their signature brunch dishes with your best mates. Can we book a table now?!
65A Brushfield Street, E1 6AA
14 Hills
If you are looking for more of a view whilst you dine amongst plants, then 14 Hills is one to put on your list. It has been said that the name was inspired by the fact you can see as far as the hills, perched atop the 14th floor of 120 Fenchurch Street, and to bring a sense of the hills being alive within the restaurant, they have created a lush garden-style interior. Enjoy their beautiful dishes under a canopy of evergreen plants and seasonal climbers. Sound’s divine.

NT’s Loft
Moving towards Hackney, and situated at the heart of Netil House you'll find NT's, a buzzing warehouse-style cocktail bar and rooftop hideaway. Their open-plan space with huge windows that look out on to East London is filled with plants, plus a menu full of small plates & delicious cocktails that we can’t wait to return to.
207, 1 Westgate Street, E8 3RL
Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals
Described as “an oasis in Fitzrovia”, this one is perfect for afternoon cocktails in a more central location. Filled entirely with flora and fauna, serving botanical-inspired cocktails, with their very own in-house botanists, you really can’t get greener than this. Aesthetically it’s a beautiful spot, from their framed doorway to their spiral staircase, just waiting to be snapped.
48 Newman Street, W1T 1QQ
